Why blog now, you ask?

Wow, 26 years into life and I never thought I would even think about starting a blog around fitness. Even though some days are harder than others, I have miraculously have never given up. Sure, it is still early, but this habit I have created really feels as though it will be sticking around. I SURE HOPE IT DOES!

The gym has become more than just where I go to workout. Yes! it can take the form of a therapy session, but it also feels like a learning jungle. The lessons are there, but sometimes you have to cut down a few weeds that  have been around for years and years to see your goals (you may not have known you had for yourself) come to fruition.

Some things you should know:

  • I still hate running.
  • Burpees can suck it and so can the scale.
  • I love fitness, but I also love FOOD.
    • My ovaries once gave me a choice between eating chocolate or murdering someone. So I ate a KitKat and I guess you could say I saved a life.
    • I think carbs love me too much, because they don’t like to leave.
  • I like gym humor, so good luck. I love gym memes!
  • If you need a a gym hype-woman, I GOTCHU!!!!!!!!
